Good morning! My name is Sam Jones. I am a software engineer in the Baltimore/DC area, producing mostly Java and Flex code (and a never-ending stream of Bash scripts). I am working to learn and increase my use of Groovy, Python, and Haskell in my own time. I also maintain a creative blog at ink.imnotpete.com for other items not appropriate for this technical blog (photography, art, music, among others). I am Catholic, I have a preference for speculative fiction and indie music, and I am working to improve my design chops. I am trying to graduate my writing from light blog posts to proper essays that I would want to read. It’s a work in progress.
